if SME's are unhappy about the new child promotion policies, they can screw themselves and set up their business outside this country.
I know it's more inconvenient. But so what? You compare the workers' rights in this country with that of developed nations and you'll realise how lucky you are.
You don't get strikes here. You have a disciplined and reasonable union. You have a relatively low cost of spending on capital as compared to say the western countries. Just be glad you're able to successfully start up a business here. Granted that is the most troublesome step here comparing with other places. You even get flexible wage system to allow for adjustment down in recessions! I mean it's official you are allowed to do it. They'll probably just go on strike in western europe, less UK.
So do our country a favour and contribute something back to society. I hear of some people who are really squeezed dry by SME's with no performance reward at the lower levels. These bosses are scum of the businesses.
