Hopefully, my brain will be working at its maximum capacity this semester so that I can apply for jobs with a wholesome edge.
engine, business, sociology mods. So far, this is the most deadly combo. Previous semesters' mixtures of arts mods have been kinder in terms of content. This sem's is like coffee, tea and chocolate mixed in 1 pot.
The most xiong one is the sociology mod. And so the lecturer says "you can write anything you want. As long as you can defend your view with evidence, that's fine with me.
You know what I say? Based on experience, I must figure out what kind of person the lecturer is and write a seemingly unorthordox view but which is essentially still what she wants to read(a.k.a her opinions). She may seem very hip hop and open what-not, but I can sense she's pretty biased in some sense. But oh well, in my opinion, sociology is a pretty biased subject from individual to individual. A right brain person is going to have a completely different take from a left brain person. A testosterone charged person is going to have a flipside view from a estrogen pumped person. A young person is going to cry foul about an old person's opinions.
So the conclusion is, sociology is not about who's right and who's not. The important take home lesson is how to gather data from the environment and make the best judgement on getting the best result. It's no point saying my point is right and everyone else is a dimwit in the focus group because I ain't gonna get anything done by myself. As the name implies, it's sociology, not correctology.
