black hawk down...sitting helicopter quite an experience lah...most army guys wud have it b4 i suppose...its very unlike a plane...when the super puma took me and my sectionmates during one ex, was thinking wad if the rotors screwed up and we crashed...think falling on your own and falling while trapped in a huge metal body is quite diff?think plane crash also not so scary...the chopper can't even glide...*shudder*...perhaps it would feel like experiencing turbulence w/o the speed of an airplane...wah...wad a horrifying way to die...some rumours i heard bout how they select chopper pilots - the best fly fighter jets, the next best fly transport planes, and the third next fly choppers...and also the too tall ones fly the choppers which means the shorties of the lot prob go to the jets...its the cockpit space lah...but then dunno true not...hahaha...
