i believe that it was possible there wudn't be so many casualties...there's a damn fault line there and all the countries nearest to it dun give nuts to it?i'm pretty sure that out of the hundreds of millions of pple staying in those countries, these issues must have been brought up b4... they say that the cost of monitoring such natural phenomenons is too high...yah...go have a nuclear race between india and pakistan...nuclear materials cheap cheap...just put in bomb, kaboom...now we can launch nukes at each other and let tsunamis wash away the aftermath...beli good idea...in my opinion, the only reason there ain't money for such early warning systems is simply cuz of politicians and their games...hope there wud be precautions now...
