taufik won the singapore idol...rightly so i must say...but then again...i'm kinda biased against sylvester...well...i think taufik was banking on his second song to tell the pple that he can make his mark on the music world with his own style and voice whereas sylvester was heading towards towards the bilingual and not just english audience...which i think wasn't a very smart choice actually...how can you compete for votes with the general audience who're multi-racial...you can enjoy a song you dun understand but you cannot appreciate it to the full capacity as with one which you do...this is assuming both songs are equally as good...and furthermore...it wasnt some song with a catchy tune...it was a slow one...our malay friends must be going "ah gu very bored lah"...and i def do not see as much sincerity in sylvester's smile as with taufik's one...sorry man sylvester fans...i just dun like him...i keep seeing "hee...does my cute chinese pop star luk make you wanna root for me?"whenever i see him smile at the camera...hahaha!so yah...taufik has a stronger music sense and nicer voice and radiant image...he won man...
went for a jog after the singapore idol results came out...knee din hurt...yet...been awhile since i ran thats why...was listening to some trancey music but just cycled through mainly my fav tracks from paul van dyke, paul oaklenfold,fragma n of cuz clocks by coldplay(yeah i like this song alot cuz there was a remixed version being played at this super nice club)...the thing about listening to music is that you tend to run faster and you dun really pay attention to your breathing pattern which i suspect might be influenced by the beat of the song...so i was halfway through the route when i saw this cute lil kitten...i stopped...it ran...i felt sian...cannot sayang the bugger...so off i went again...lungs were feeling strained when i neared this traffic light..."please...let it be red... its still green now...maybe when i reach there it will just turn red"ha!i'm a slacker..."ah...its turning red now...gonna reach it soon.................................................................................................fark!green again?!!!!!!!!so fast?!!!!!!"you shoulda seen the sian luk on my face...well see...i must admit i'm highly unmotivated when it comes to running...i dun go"yeah man...this is so fun...woohoo!" more like "tamade...when is this going to end...when will the next landmark appear and tell me i'm halfway/finishing already?"...the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that if i ever stop during a run...my standard is very likely going to drop subsequently...and that sucks...cuz to improve is more torturous...if i had natural fitness...boy...i wud stop everytime man!hahaha...yah...thats how much i hate running for running...as in...not running for games...
so there i was...racing towards my end point which was a bus stop..."fark!why you sprint so early?cok!knn...damn far!abit more only..."know the angel and devil debating...yah...hahaha...anyway...when i took off my earphones...realised i was kinda hyper-ventilating...that distinct higher pitch "heER HEer...heER HEer...heER HEer"..."not bad not bad...i'm good!" haz..........so thats it......i'm done with my rants for the day...
