wtf.. Singtel won the UCL rights for next year? sorry I'm not going to subscribe to it.. in fact.. I'm very tempted to switch away my singtel hp to a starhub one now.. bastards.. I think this time they really backfire.. maybe only pissed pple like me will think of switching telco but I'm pretty sure that most pple will not subscribe to mio tv just for european champions league.. they they will end up like sbs transit and do a losing business by trying to run the NEL.. even smrt does not want to bid for NEL on it's own initiative now.. and if you noticed.. SMRT offers free bus shuttle services from dhoby ghaut to china town and little india if I'm not wrong.. I think they are doing this to prevent NEL from eating a part of their profits whenever they transfer over at dhoby ghaut and outram park..
so starhub should start offering such perks too.. I really hope MDA starts to offer some soccer matches on free to air.. but then again.. which organisation truly cares about the consumer now? starhub? singtel? MDA? if Singapore does not do a thing about controlling such unproductive competition.. soon cost of living in this entertainment limited country is going to be too high.. stress levels are going up.. pple are working harder and getting less entertainment.. get fed up.. migrate.. after all.. what's the point in life? to just work? dun talk about cheap and easy entertainment.. even finding a nice place to chill out in india is much cheaper I think.. I mean comparing an Indian who forks out a certain percentage of his salary for entertainment..
Someone from a poorer country might say to us "is your life that difficult? is it that tough? you have everything here!" well yah.. see stupid.. you can't compare like that.. yi san bi yi san gao.. it's like a person who gets mediocre grades complains some scholar bitching about himself getting A- instead of A+.. to everyone.. he has his own benchmark of what he is satisfied with and what he will be very unhappy with..
so in view of that.. whats there to stop us from migrating now? I hope local policy will keep that in mind from now on..
